The Black Desert x Berserk collaboration was just released on Steam today.

Black Desert Online is a MMORPG operating from South Korea that's been around for about 7 years. This kind of licensing deal has become the standard way of getting Berserk in front of other audiences the past few years. We've seen quite a few of these kinds of arrangements in the mobile games space, in particular. If you're not familiar, essentially they offer a small window of time where Berserk stuff is crammed into a game: Costumes, rare drops, bosses. In this case, there are costumes for Guts, Griffith, Schierke, with a Zodd boss encounter, and apparently a Skull Knight NPC.

Interestingly, in the official promo art for the collaboration, they chose to show the Beast with its right eye darkened.

You can see all related details and visuals here.

Griffith's face reminds me of that of a toddler's lol.

Anyway, I used to play Black Desert upon release because the combat system was incredible for an MMO back then. Kinda intrigued. Thanks for sharing.

This appears to be very similar to the Berserk x Black Desert Online collab that already happened roughly 4 years ago. I downloaded the game back then to check out the Skull Knight and Zodd quest they had added. It can be done fairly early into creating a new character and I think it took me about half an hour to complete. I can't say if the rewards were good as I didn't play the game otherwise. There were also bundles you could buy in-game with real money that would get you the Guts and Griffith armor sets. I don't remember if they also come with a unique moveset, because I think they were about 30€ each and I didn't purchase them.

Griffith looks strange in the promotional material, because I think it's a female Player Character wearing the armor set. It's not actually supposed to be Griffith.

I also think the Schierke outfit is new and might be the only change from the old event.
