Salty Kenny's Sketchy Sketches

Just got home and checked it out on the big screen. You really nailed the page composition, with the light in the middle diffusing into and pushing the darkness towards the edges. Casca's detailed miniature sword and plate are also sweet. Well done!

I took inspiration for the light shaft, from countless 70's and 80's movie posters, particularly the Star Wars New Hope Poster...https://i.imgur.com/awj6HEq.jpg
Glad you enjoyed it.

This is so sweet and uplifting, and full of your Kenny-style details! Great job man, this is a new favorite of mine as well. :casca::farnese::schierke:

We could all use a little bit more of uplifting huh? Glad i could help a little bit.

I absolutely love it. It's adorable as hell.

These three Miura's angels are already adorable by themselves in their regular form, so it wasn't that difficult of a task.

Its been a while, with the new job and everything but i finally managed to scrape up some time to finish this, I hope you'll enjoy it.

P.s. Hopefully, the next one won't take as long. Oh and of course, enjoy your Valentine's Day everyone!

Feel the funk blast
As always, it's delightful to see all of the awesome detail you've added, Kenny! The Old New Crew is looking snappy, and I like how you added the tentacles slithering around them. :ubik:

Atocas

Voice in the Void
Amazing work! I love all the little tentacles and eyes around them!

If I had to criticize anything, I'd say that it looks a little odd how only Void reflects the light of the brand, but then again, it also elevates him :void:

That's more than fair. here's a secret, Kenny is self taught, i know nearly nothing about creating light and shadow, i'm literally walking in the dark, slowly learning as i go.

This is absolutely fantastic! The level of detail put into this drawing is really incredible, it's quite east to get lost in the intricacy. I can only aspire to have your level of patience when it comes to drawing.

Incredible. How long does each piece take? Always find myself with big eyes fascinated by the backgrounds of your pieces. It's good nobody's around me when I look like that 0_0
I work on these when i have a little time to spare and im actually in the in the mood for it, so its literally 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there, half an hour if im lucky. So i guess overhaul, each piece takes like...i don't know 5 to 10 hours?

P.S. If anyone catches you looking at my stuff, just quickly change it to porn, probably less embarrassing.

Wow, Kenny! I know that I probably say "this may be your best yet" every time you post a new pic, but... this may be your best yet! :ganishka: Such delectable details with lots of little surprises, I feel like I'm eating a tasty cake when I look at it!

This is a real treat for the eyes! There are so many little details that it's like a scavenger hunt. It's a really immersive piece that makes it feel like I'm walking through the village as I look around for those details.

Thank you Grail. Oh and if you think looking at my drawings is like eating a tasty cake, then get ready to put on a few pounds.

That's why i drew those little paths, to make it easier for people to walk through it, forgot to draw some sign posts though.

Wow, this was awesome. As someone who just found this thread, not only is your artwork fantastic- I love the amount of individual detail you fit into a single image- but it was so cool to go through the thread and see an improvement in and "tightening" of your art style. Quite appropriate for Berserk! :chomp: Hope to see more of these, you're quite talented!

Thank you, really, particularly the part about my stuff getting better, means a lot, really, I hope to make more of these also.

How are you able to put in so much detail?! If I tried halg of the stuff you did I'd finish 30% of it, go to sleep and never work on it again
Then finish 30% of it, then leave it be, forget about it....then eventually you'll look back at it and hopefully the passion will come back, then 60% will be done, hence and repeat, until you feel like you've reached your 100%.

Your most recent piece looks amazing Kenny! I really like the person (Serpico?) playing the flute in the background.
Glad you enjoyed it DirtiestM.

P.S. No that's not Serpico.......i get it, the closed eyes thing. No, that's just a random elvish/pixie fairy type creature enjoying her how flute melodies. If everything goes according to plan and if i have the time, you will see a sprite version of Serpico in due time...
