Precisely. Based on the night sky, one can conclude that their universe is different from our own, or that they are in a different part of it. Knowing this, the idea that their moon may be of a slightly different size, distance from their planet and star, orbital velocity and path, is not so far fetched. It may not be too, but one can't be sure.

He probably is Gaiseric, but even if he wasn't he could still be a king, depending on the circumstances. (inheritor of nothing) But yeah he's most likely Gaiseric.
