Walter was right about volume 24 being the most dialogue heavy. The average Berserk volume has around 5000 words; volume 24 has over 9500. The second place is volume 29 with ~7800 words. The shortest volume is 34 with ~1400 words.

P.S. Yes, I'm crazy enough to have transcribed the entirety of Berserk. So, don't even ask.

Speaking of the scene where Guts and Serpico talked, i always felt as if Guts throwing a stick at Serpico was a homage to Serpicos trait of throwing sticks like he did with Guts or Isidro.

That’d imply that Guts knew about that little stick throw though, right? I’m not sure he did.
